HomePerks Plans

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

HomePerks ("we", "us") is built by Uintah Reach. This policy explains what the HomePerks app collects, why, and how it's used. HomePerks has no third-party analytics or advertising code, does not sell data, and does not use anything it collects to track you across other apps or websites.

Who this covers

HomePerks is a household app used by a parent or guardian (the "account holder") and, on shared or paired devices, by their children. The account holder sets up the household, adds children, and stays in control of what those children can do and see.

Signing in

You sign in with your Apple ID. HomePerks never sees or stores a password — sign-in is verified directly with Apple, and we receive only your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email," we store the private relay address Apple gives us, not your real one.

What we collect

  • Account info: your name and email address, from Apple.
  • Household and child profiles: the household name, and each child's display name, avatar and optional age range. Children do not have their own email address, password or birth date on file.
  • Chores, points and rewards: tasks you create, what a child completed or claimed, and the ledger of points earned and spent — this is the record of who earned what and why.
  • Device information: a per-install device identifier, device model and OS version, and a push notification token, so approvals and reminders reach the right device and so a parent can see and remove paired devices.
  • Purchases: if you subscribe to Plus, Apple handles your payment details directly — HomePerks never sees your card number. We send Apple's signed purchase receipt to our server to confirm the subscription and unlock the household's plan.
  • Camera: used only to scan a QR code when pairing a child's device to the household during setup. No photo or video is captured, stored, or sent anywhere.

What we don't collect

  • No advertising identifiers, and no advertising or analytics SDKs of any kind.
  • No location data.
  • No contacts, photos, health, or financial account data.
  • No data from or about children beyond what's listed above.

How we use it

Everything we collect is used to run the app: signing you in, running the household's chores, points and rewards, sending approvals and reminders, confirming a Plus subscription, and keeping the household's history so there's never an argument about what was earned. We don't use it for advertising, analytics profiling, or to personalize content shown to anyone outside your own household.

Children's privacy

A child's profile is created and controlled entirely by the parent or guardian — a child never signs up, provides an email address, or creates their own account. Only the account holder can add, edit, or remove a child's profile and see that child's activity. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child, and we do not allow a child's profile to be used for advertising or tracking of any kind.

Sharing

We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers. Data is shared only with the service providers that make the app work — our hosting and push notification providers, and Apple, for sign-in and purchases — and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

Your controls

You can rename or archive a child's profile, remove a paired device, and cancel a Plus subscription at any time from within the app or your Apple ID settings. You can delete your account permanently from Settings, which removes your household's data. If your household has another guardian in it, ownership must be transferred or the other guardian removed first, since a shared household isn't one account's alone to delete.
